There will be a meeting of the Bristol Socialist Party tomorrow night – Tuesday 10th January 2011, 7.30pm. The venue is Cheltenham Road Library, Cheltenham Road, BS6 5QX. The meetings go back to being every Tuesday as of now.
The subject will be – ‘Class Struggles in Europe’ – a talk given by Robin Clapp, who was a British delegate at the recent Committee for a Workers’ International world congress. The current round of cuts and austerity forced through by an unrepresentative ConDem government are being mirrored in every country in Europe, from Ireland to Greece, but so too is the mass movement against them. Ordinary people are being forced to pay for the greed and stupidity of a rich minority, but if we organise together we can not only stop the cuts, but fight to create a socialist world.
The CWI has parties, groups and individuals in over 40 countries around the world. We stand shoulder to shoulder with workers and young people around the world in struggle against the attacks of the bosses and for a fairer, better society.
