Leafleting
UH Bristol are holding meetings to inform staff of their financial plans. It would be fantastic if we got some people outside giving out leaflets. Can any body help out? Here are the details of these meetings:

Monday 7 March: 2pm-3.30pm, Lecture Theatre, St Michael's Hospital
Wednesday 9 March: 9am-10.30am, Conference Room, Trust HQ, Marlborough St.

Please reply to this e-mail if you are able to help.
NHS Under Threat
An excellent pamphlet has been produced by members of BADACA's Health Group. It explains very clearly the threat to the NHS and how the health service in Bristol will be affected. It is being finalised and when it is ready, we would like supporters to distribute it as widely as possible. Printing costs have been covered by a very generous doanation from the Unison Branch at UWE. The health service will be the main topic for discussion at the Open Meeting.
Thanks to . . .
Mike Wheeler for organising Saturday's BADACA Social. It was a great success and raised over £200.
Pete McGann or organising the Sponsored Walk which will have raised a couple of hundred more when everyone who has promised sponsorship coughs up.
And don't forget . . .
March for the Alternative - TUC demonstration against the cuts, London, March 26th.
