Public meeting - The Relevance of Trotsky in 2011

Bristol Socialist Party public meeting -
Thursday 6th January 2011, 7.30pm
Cheltenham Road Library, Cheltenham Road, BS6 5QX

This will be a joint meeting of both Central and South branches of the Socialist Party to kick off the new year, taking as a starting point this quote from Trotsky's 'My Life':

January 1, 1917: Every one on the boat congratulates every one else on the New Year. Two New Years of the war I have spent in France, the third is spent on the ocean. What has 1917 in store for us?

2011 will not be Bristol's 1917 but it will be full of challenges and opportunities for our party, which is why we want to take time to discuss Trotsky's revolutionary legacy and how we can prepare for change in 2011.
