For a mass demo 9th December - National Shop Stewards Network

When parliament vote on fees on 9th December, the NSSN has called for a mass demo - this must be in conjunction with any other actions or demos, for example on the 5th and 8th of December locally in Bristol. If you are a member of any student group, Trade Union branch or anti-cuts committee, please give your support and aim for the widest co-ordination possible.

  3. This has come from UWE:

On Thursday, the day our MPs will vote on raising tuition fees to £9,000, there will be a massive demonstration in London. We need everyone, staff and students, at UWE and beyond, to be there!

UCU and the camp for education collaborate to ensure that everyone who wants to go can actually go. UCU will also subsidise buses so that tickets will only cost £5 per person: that's one of their ways to make solidarity between staff and students a reality!

You can already book your seat on a coach here:

Please help us by spreading the word, sharing this link, and talking to all your friends, classmates and lecturers about this!

See you Thursday at the demo in London!
